I was employed at John Martins from February 1985, and was lucky enough to be chosen to be in the Christmas Pagaent. My daughter Maria was also lucky to be chosen for the Christmas Tree Float. This was a very memorable moment for both of us, as we still talk about our experiences. The Pageant was televised on TV (like every other year) and the camera held focus on Maria, as she was smiling and waving with great excitement, and the background music was Bruce Springfield singing Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.
